This week’s plush is Chiks, the beta baby pokemon for the Doduo evolutionary line! It’s too bad that this pokemon was tied with Doduo, it could have been an interesting line on its own.

This week’s amigurumi features Meowth, a classic member of Team Rocket! I feel like Meowth’s design compliments the amigurumi style – the pokemon also looks good with coins too!

This is one of my favourite plush that I made back in the early 2000’s – a light blue cotton and velour rendition of an Articuno. About a year ago, I had been commissioned to make a wedding cake topper for a friend of mine. This is the first time I’ve ever made a full sculpture, complete with an armature – it was an interesting learning curve to tackle for the year.
